Church Planting Courses
When plant a church, you are venturing into a new world. It often means leaving behind settled routines and friendships, embracing change and it can be quite lonely. These impacts are not only felt by planter themselves but the whole family. In this course we start to unpick what church planting means for your marriage and for your kids as you step out together on this adventure with God.
Church planting can be tough, and one of the things that keeps us going through the hard times is a sense that we are doing is not merely a good human initiative, but something that God has called us to do.
In this course we explore the topic of calling, looking first at what the Bible means when it talks about calling, and then exploring how can discern whether or not we are being called to church planting and what difference this makes.
One of the first and biggest challenges faced by a church planter is gathering a team. This marks the transition from a private vision of what you think calling you to do to the start of a church being birthed. Can you find others who will buy into the vision and join you on the journey? In this course we start to look at how you build this team and what kind of people you want to recruit to it.
Change management is a pivotal skill for leaders of all levels to develop and to go on developing. Over the coming months, Broadcast will be presenting a course of webinars called 'Change For Growth' where we delve into questions of how to manage change in different contexts.
There were will be three tiered levels to this course: for church planters, for church leaders and for movement leaders. This is the course for church planters.

Through conversations with those who have experience of multi-cultural churches this 8-session course unpacks what is involved in laying foundations for a multi-cultural church. Experience shows that it is much easier to build on the right foundations rather than to relay the foundations once a church has started.
