Change management is a pivotal skill for leaders of all levels to develop and to go on developing. Over the coming months, Broadcast will be presenting a course of webinars called ‘Change For Growth’ where we delve into questions of how to manage change in different contexts.
There were will be three tiered levels to this course: for church planters, for church leaders and for movement leaders. This is the course for movement leaders.
The School of Theology was created by Christ Church Manchester to provide accessible theology training to everyday Christians. It meets for one Saturday morning per month and includes working through the whole Bible over the course of two years as well as studying a systematic theology topic each month.
This course brings you those systematic theology sessions, allowing you to learn at your own pace in video or audio format, along with the accompanying notes.

As well as sending out teams and planters to start brand new church plants, a lot of churches are also now planting new sites of their church, and it is common for churches to describe themselves as ‘One Church in X Locations’. In other words they are becoming multisite churches.
With this comes big opportunities. The pace of planting has rapidly increased as sites have been pioneered. The channels of support for those leading the work are much more developed, and the ownership is shared. At the same time there are big challenges. What things should be held centrally and what should be devolved to the sites? How do you develop systems for leadership, teaching, finance and other areas of church life?
In this course we explore some of these questions to help equip you for your multisite journey.
Preaching God’s word is powerful and effective, and it has been part of church life for the last 2000 years.
As we pioneer churches, sites and cross cultures we want to be effective in this. The Bible tells us to rightly handle the word of truth, and in this course we explore what this looks like.
We cover the ingredients of a successful sermon, how we rightly understand a Biblical text and how we construct and deliver a talk from what we have learned.
