This module is focused on the key role of sending churches and the importance of sending and supporting cross cultural workers well. This module has both teaching, on the importance of pastoral support and care, as well as case studies from churches that are experienced at doing this.
The aim of this course is to increase your desire to share your faith with Muslim friends and acquaintances and to help you feel more confident about doing so.
The phrase goes, unless you know the questions that people are asking you cannot answer them. When entering a new culture, there will be different ways of viewing the world and different key questions that people are asking in order to make sense of the world. In this module we will explore worldview and key grids that many people interpret the world through. We’ll look at honour and shame, the importance of reciprocal relationships and the importance of narrative and story telling.
