For anyone considering church planting, the starting point in our thinking isn’t the strategy or vision for what we want to do but the story of God that is behind it all. This story tells of what God has been doing since before creation, and what he is still doing in the world today. In this course, we lay the theological foundations that every church planter needs. Across four sessions we trace the mission of God from the Trinity to the new creation, exploring why the church is central to that mission and not just a means to an end, look at the pioneering pattern of Jesus himself, and then follow that pattern as it plays out through Acts and the church at Antioch. If you want to plant a church that is rooted in something deeper than vision and strategy, start here.
