The phrase goes, unless you know the questions that people are asking you cannot answer them. When entering a new culture, there will be different ways of viewing the world and different key questions that people are asking in order to make sense of the world. In this module we will explore worldview and key grids that many people interpret the world through. We’ll look at how the bible is an Eastern book, honour and shame in the bible, positive and negative uses of shame, the importance of reciprocal relationships and the importance of narrative and story telling.
