Artists as Border Stalkers

Artists are a great blessing to our communities and our culture at large but they can also be a huge blessing to our churches. If we’ll listen to them! We see this when we understand their important role as border stalkers.

1) Do you know any people who could be described as border stalkers?

Scriptures to consider: 1 Samuel 22:1-2, 1 Samuel 27 (was David a border stalker?)

2) What benefits do border stalkers offer communities? What challenges might they present?

3) How can we build church communities where border stalkers can thrive?
