The Gospel of Peace

The Messiah wins peace not by force but by the cross. Jesus absorbs violence, entrusts judgment to God, and calls us to active peacemaking, reconciliation, and radical forgiveness (seventy-seven times). We follow his pattern: not passive, but cruciform.
